The internet is ever changing, often daily
As it becomes easier and easier to communicate via the internet,
new sites appear and become fashionable almost overnight . Many
of these also fade just as quickly as they are replaced by the next
“hot” site.
The means of connection are rapidly converging
No longer do you only need a computer to connect to the internet.
Increasingly mobile devices are and will become the tool of choice
for our children to connect via the internet.
Teaching about and filtering sites alone is not enough
Because of this rapidly changing environment it is more important
than ever to assist children to develop safe and appropriate attitudes
and behaviours related to all Internet usage.
