    • How far forward or backward something goes.
  • 2. Two Dimensional
    • Having height and width, but no depth.
  • 3. Three-dimensional
    • Having, or appearing to have, height, width, and depth.
  • 4. Foreground
    • The front of a picture, often at the bottom, that appears to be closest to the viewer.
  • 5. Background
    • The part of a picture that looks like its farthest away from the viewer.
  • 6. Middle ground
    • The part of an image that lies between the foreground and the background.

    • When one thing is partially covering something else to show that it is in front.

  • 11. Vanishing Point
    • The point on the horizon where all of the converging lines come together.

    • Lines that come together at a point.
