Preparing For Personalisation - Presentation Transcript

    1. Preparing for Personalisation This is a comprehensive learning and development programme for providers to prepare them for personalisation and to help them make the necessary cultural and organisational changes. It will be run by an alliance of provider organisations and regional and national personalisation experts and administered by the Tyne & Wear Care Alliance.
    2. Moving forwards together
    3. Features, needs and efficiencies
      • Features of your project
      • Regional Training Programme
      • Bespoke Organisational Development Programme
      • Coaching and leadership programme
      • Efficiencies created
      • A regional programme of shared learning is more cost effective
      • Local delivery makes better use of scarce expertise amongst trainers
      • Effective use of commissioner resources to provide a shared programme
      • Needs your project meets
      • Need of providers to make the transition to personalised services
      • Need of commissioners to have providers who are ready for the new agenda
      • Need of future consumers to have service options they can buy directly
    4. Measures of success
      • Attendance by a diverse range of providers
      • Significant improvement in state of “preparedness”
      • More Providers have systems in place to deal with IBs and ISFs
    5. Support
      • Buy-in from Training Alliances (T&WCA already a partner)
      • Help to reach ALL providers and care groups
      • Dialogue with commissioners about what changes they wish to see
    6. Please delete as appropriate.
      • I am willing to attend the Festival of Ideas on 12 th November to talk about this project and to be signed up to the Innovation Exchange website to support this knowledge sharing after the event.
      • I do understand that this event is the launch of the North East JIP’s Provider Development Fund and I am interested in the possibility of applying to this Fund in the future
      • I do understand that this Fund will only support projects that involve collaboration between at least two providers of social care services and that funded projects will be part of an evaluation process to include both research interviews and knowledge sharing events.
