    Notes on slide 1

This idea Is to support people to be able to call one number to find all the information they need. An individual will a learning disability will be able to be signposted to the information of their choice which can include a number of options a bit like direct enquiries.

information will include contact details of points of contact for the information you need including ; community groups, support planning, benefits, advocacy, health advice, transport, changing facilities, employment agencies, who to contact to access an individual budget, banks who are able to open accounts for people without passports, the list is endless.

The person receiving the call could be someone employed with a learning disability.

Organisations need to be aware and sign up to the service so that there is someone dedicated to deal with any request.

I have discussed this idea with an advocacy group who feel this would be a good idea.
