      • To demonstrate the benefits of custodial based Individual Budget advisors providing brokerage and advice to offenders aged between 18-25, returning to North Tyneside.
      • In particular to evaluate the cross benefits to other agendas;
      • Reducing re-offending
      • Supporting People programme
      • Safer, more cohesive communities
      • Breaking the cycle of family poverty
      • Homelessness and Debt
      • Employment, Education and Training.
      • Health inc. Drug and Alcohol dependency

      • Breaking the cycle of crime and poverty in communities
      • Contributing toward Local Area Agreement priorities

    4. Measures of success
      • Amount of personal budgets agreed before release.
      • Reduction of reoffending rates in cohort.
      • Individual Outcomes approach
    5. Support
      • Govt / Departmental support e.g. Ministry of Justice, DWP,
      • Local Statutory bodies support e.g. North Tyneside Adult Social Care, Northumbria Probation.
      • Support of local community e.g. mentoring roles

      • I am willing to attend the Festival of Ideas on 12 th November to talk about this project and to be signed up to the Innovation Exchange website to support this knowledge sharing after the event.
      • I do understand that this event is the launch of the North East JIP’s Provider Development Fund and I am interested in the possibility of applying to this Fund in the future
      • I do understand that this Fund will only support projects that involve collaboration between at least two providers of social care services and that funded projects will be part of an evaluation process to include both research interviews and knowledge sharing events.
