  • 2. John Antoine LabadieDr. Labadie has over 30 years experience in the visual arts. Labadies art career includes professionalpositions in photography, scientific illustration, journal & magazine editing, art direction, graphicdesign and fine arts. Labadie regularly publishes and exhibits with professional national andinternational groups and associations in the USA, the Americas, Europe and Asia.Dr. Labadie is currently an Associate Professor of Art, serves as the Director of the UNCP DigitalAcademy and teaches digital art studio, digital art appreciation, communication design and mediaintegration studies courses.In 2005-2006 John Antoine Labadie served as a Fulbright Senior Scholar with the Center forCreativity & Innovation Studies at National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan and also as VisitingArtist at Taipei National University of the Arts in Beitou, Taiwan and The Beijing Film Academy inBeijing, China.The images in this collection were made between 2006 – 2008.
