    • LOOK FOR PROBLEMS Before you start building your money making blog, a comprehensive plan has to be thought in advance. Look for the niche, that is the segment of the market. Basically, we want to identify what the people are searching on internet. - What are the problems that they want to solve? - What are the information they are looking for? - What are the questions they are looking online?
    • CHECK THE GOOGLE TREND We can use the Google Hot Trend tools that track top 20 searches every day. It is available from: www.google.com/trends/hottrends The search get the high volume for various reason. Some of them may only for a short time and it is advisable to search on the keyword for long term trend. Ideally we should look for searches that relate to: - products - money - celebrities - health - politics
    • REMEMBER THE 3 P’S The three Ps are popular, profit and potential. popular means having a large search. It may not be a suitable target. Search with negative information should not be considered. profitability is the potential profit the keyword can made money. It depends on many factors which will be discussed later. potential – this is concerned about the competitors. However, the number of sites obtained from the search by google does indicate the level of competitions. We have to try it before we know it.
    • GOOGLE INSIGHTS The other tool we can use is the google insights,http://www.google.com/insights/search/. It can give a comparative data on volume and pattern across a specified regions, country and categories. We can find out which country are looking for the keyword. There are options to select from to target your search. If you set the time to 7 days, that is , compared by time range and time range =7 days, then you will have a current trend.
    • CHECK FOR PROFITABILITY OF THE KEYWORD We want to check if there are advertisers competition. We can assume that if there are people who advertize, there are money in the keyword. the keyword money online is highly competitive That mean there is money in the keyword
    • POTENTIAL If the keyword is too competitive, too many people are chasing for it, it may be difficult to compete with established webs . - let is check the search engine on the number of web sites for this keyword ..money online.. ref to www.google.com/webhp. you have 117,000,000 websites offering the keywords. You can also use a tool to measure the difficulty of the keyword, at www.seologs.com/keyword-difficulty.html.
    • FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE # think long term – some searches are only for a short period, term such as the football games’ result or aircraft accident are good for short period only. # Look for a new catch phrase, e.g SARS is only the recent term. # Keep an eye on new personality – celebritties can be a mega search, such as Obama. # Choose keyword with products. There are some popular search but without and product to sell.
    • SOME OF THE POTENTIAL PROFITABLECATEGORIES ARE: - cars, cell phones, dating and relationship, - diet and weight loss, entertainment, family - fashion, games, finance, food, gardening, - health, internet, language - money, music, pets, real estate, - self improvement, shopping, sports, - technology, travel.
