  • 1. Yellow Fever
    • Caused by female Mosquito
    • 2. Transmitted through the virus within the mosquito
    • 3. All ages and genders are open
  • 4. Etiology
    • 3-6 days of incubation
    • 5. Mild case signs
    • 6. -headache, back ache, chills, high fever, and muscle aches
    • 7. Second phase
    • 8. - yellow skin, liver failure, black vomit
    • 9. 3% will die
  • 10. Pathophysiology
    • Acute
    • 11. Immune
    • 12. If second phase is reached; possible liver and kidney failure
  • 13. Prognosis and treatment
    • Can be prevented
    • 14. Detected through blood test
    • 15. Once diagnosed; have to ride out sickness
    • 16. Is terminal
