  2. 2. What causes Leukemia?<br />No one is sure what causes leukemia<br />Some researches believe that radiation, viruses, or chemicals that are in the environment cause leukemia<br />
  3. 3. Who gets Leukemia?<br />Both females and males of all ages<br />It is twice as common in males then females<br />More than ½ off all leukemia patients are over 60<br />The leukemia that affects children the most it ALL<br />

  5. 5. Symptoms and Signs<br />Earliest Symptoms are like the flu:<br />Fever<br />Body Aches<br />Fatigue<br />If the person has leukemia the patient will get worse instead of better. The patient will run a fever and get weaker, they will easily tire when they are active<br />

There are several types of white blood cells.<br />Red blood cells carry oxygen to tissues throughout the body.<br />Platelets help form blood clots that control bleeding.<br />
