    3. 3. Etiology• The incubation period is 1-6 days• The most common symptoms are : • Fever, chills, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, headache, weakness, enlarged, swollen lymph nodes (buboes), constipation, abdominal ain and joint stiffness.
    4. 4. Pathology• It is not chronic; however, you are susceptible to this diseases if you are exposed to it again.
    5. 5. Prognosis and Treatment• Blood, lymph node and sputum cultures can detect this disease. If it goes untreated, it can be terminal.• The only means of prevention are through rat control.
