gets audiences more engaged and involved with the presentation.

young people - like a 'safe' facebook; everyone has to prove they are

'record label' to which they can 'sign' classes/groups of children - this could be
useful for you anyway Pete,

safe surfing information

● http://todaysmeet.com- backchannel forum (twitter) - could be good for a
practical demonstration.

systems.
● www.promethean.co.uk - interactive whiteboard manufacturer

developer - I've seen these more often than Promethean boards)
● http://www.wordle.com – creates word clouds from a website or a body of text;
makes more frequent words larger: excellent for summary and analysis.
● http://xmind.net - free windows mind mapping software, quite pretty, but very
friendly.
● http://www.mindnode.com - mind mapping software (basic version is free) for
Mac, and iPad, plus soon an iPhone version.
