    •  Located in the iTunes Store under Podcasts  Reserved for new shows TO the iTunes Library  You could launch a show and not allow iTunes access to it. Later, you allow iTunes access to your feed and you will be “New and Noteworthy” in their eyes.  N&N is the first spot any podcaster listener will hit when in the iTunes Podcast arena so it’s the place to get the most eyeballs on your show FAST!
    • Some Podcasts get MILLIONS of Downloads.

    •    Unless you can get many downloads right away, a podcaster with no audience needs multiple episodes. Give new listeners a chance to experience your show many times right away to get hooked! Downloads are the key, so if there are 5 episodes compared to 1, you’re 5x more likely to get multiple downloads from 1 person, Easy Math!

    •    Make Sure they are Names that usually will share your material. Leave other guests, unless they have truckloads of pull, until after you drop out of N&N. Go where the Eyeballs are, this is a marketing strategy for getting your name out there. You want to build the audience for AFTER you’ve dropped out of N&N.
    •   Find other podcasters, bloggers, journalists who will promote your content. HOW?   Mention them in your show and tell them about it. Link to other sites and people you want to reach out.
    •  Staying fresh in other’s minds is all about PROMOTION! Speak at local podcasting events  Get interviewed on other shows  Organize Meetups or help Influencers by Co-hosting  Collaborate with other Podcasters on projects (leverage their audience)  Become friends with influencers and they may want to feature you on their site! 
