Letter of Recommendation - Sample 1 Document Transcript

  • 1. To Whom It May Concern: I have had the pleasure of meeting with Jane Doe on multiple occasions over the pastyear. Jane is a cheerful and vibrant young woman with excellent academic and social skills whois sure to have a bright future ahead of her. Jane has a wide variety of interests, ranging fromreading to volleyball. Her main interest, however, is building and maintaining relationships withfamily and friends. Jane is a humanitarian who has volunteered her services at her church andthe town library. As a high school student at Wayland-Cohocton Central School, Jane ranks within the top35% of her class and has consistently challenged herself, taking both Accelerated English andAP Social Studies courses throughout high school. Jane is a veteran in her high school band, showing a true passion for music and performance. This semester, Jane has been given theopportunity to gain real-world work experience and intern as a bank teller. Her go-getter attitudehas helped her gain a sense of independence and prepared her well for life after high school. Jane is already on her way to an outstanding post-high school career. She has worked toimprove her SAT scores by studying hard and taking the test a second time this past fall. Shewill be leaving Wayland-Cohocton Central School with supplemental coursework in a variety ofsubject areas. Because she has taken three college courses in high school, Jane is already on apathway to success in college. I sincerely recommend Jane Doe for admission into yourprogram. Respectfully submitted, Joseph Benedetto, School Counseling Intern
