  • Hi Mam, Is a Cooperative having a net loss for 4 consecutive years can still be issued a Certificate of Good Standing? Is profitability not required for a cooperative to be considered it to be in Good Standing. Thank you Man.

  • This applies to all cooperatives nationwide.
    Should the cooperative fail to submit the aforesaid reports (CAPR, AFS stamped received by BIR, SAR, PAR, list of officers and training ) within such period (CAPR , AFS and list of officers and training (120 days after the end of Fiscal Year) and SAR and PAR (extended within May 1, 2013 and July 31, 2013 only) the cooperative shall be considered “late” and any request for CGS shall be imposed a penalty of P 300 per CGS, in addition to the P 100 penalty per day per report as mandated under Section 7 Rule 8 of IRR, RA 9520

    PenaltiesPhp 300.00 for not securing CGS for the year.
    Php 300.00 for late filing of CGS (after April 30 of every year)
    Php 100.00 per report per day of delay if filed after April 30 of every year (Requirement Nos. 2.1-2.5)

    Are these penalties Maam also applies to Cebu cooperatives?

    Is the revised Certificate of Good Standing(CGS) Requirements dated Jan.3,2013 applicable for Dagupan Cooperatives only?Is it not nationwide?

Including audited financial statements of the Cooperative;f. Unfinished business;g. New business;
