  • ISM is a system for the future and for today., Today ISM gives you a lot of benefits by making all the handling operations much simpler, more error-free and more efficient. Starting with the installation of the sensor. After connecting the sensor to the instrument the ISM system will perform it own configuration. Calibration can be done in a lab or maintenance shop, much easier than at the measuring point.. The ISM will also help you to reduce the amount trouble shootings.   • Lets take a look at how iSense works.
  • Where have the amperometric systems been successful in industrial applications? I would like to group the applications after the background gases that are present in the gas mixture. In the first group, we have blanketing applications where the only other gas present in the gas mixture next to Oxygen is Nitrogen. In these applications, mainly storage and packaging, long term signal stability is key. Here, the important feature of the one-point air calibration is relevant. With only air necessary as calibration gas, the whole characteristic line of the sensor can be quickly verified, and with the AirCheck solution, this can be even done automatically. In the second group, we have Inertization applications, with may be flammable solvents in the background composition. There, safety is a key issue, and this is where the ATEX zone 0 and FM class 1 Div 1 hazardous area certifications are necessary. Both the InPro 6850i G and InPro 6900i G have these certification so centrifuge inertization with oxygen measurement directly in the centrifuge is possible In the third group, Background gas composition is changing with the process conditions. This can be the case in vent collect headers for example. In off-gas monitoring, process conditions are sometimes changing fast. For these applications, the high membrane selectivity and fast response time of the sensor is key.
