History The iPad project began in 1993 when Phil Becker created the Becker Box but development ended in 1998. After the iPhone apple decided there was a market for the iPad and introduced the first iPad in 2009.
iPad reached 51 billion in sales which was the fastest of any consumer device to do so.
The iPad is light in weight and is also a flat screen which makes it easy to carry and use.
iPads cut expenses used on paper for schools.
iPads give a broader knowledge compared to text books.
