  • 2. CABINET MAGAZINEThe product I have created is ‘Cabinet Magazine’. ‘Cabinet’ is a dance music magazine that refuses to specialize in one particular genre, instead going with whatever is ‘good’ at the time. So the general movement of the magazine stays fresh to the specific age bracket it is aimed at 16-24. By adapting the genre to the time, combined with a large online presence it means the readership can be extended continuously as long as dance music continues.Currently on the market in the print based media are market leaders ‘Mixmag’ and ‘DJ Mag’. There are a number of online based magazines who specialize in the whole dance genre, and also ‘Clash’, which specializes in popular music in an evolutionary sense like ‘Cabinet’. ‘Mixmag’ and ‘DJ’ also have large sections reviewing music and mixing software/hardware too.
  • 3. Codes and conventionsBELOW I WILL DISCUSS THE CODES AND CONVENTIONS AND WHETHER I HAVE USED THEM
