  • 1. Stage 9 Stage 10 Stage 11 WT eve3 evePJ4 wgNE2evePJ4 Figure 1: evePJ4 behaves as a hypomorphic allele. Comparison of wingless protein expression from immunofluorescent microscopy. Anti-wingless antibody was used to probe for wingless protein (wg) expression. eve3 is a known amorph resulting in a loss of wg expression. evePJ4 exhibits loss of wg patterning resembling the eve3 amorphic phenotype; however wg is still produced. wgNE2evePJ4 exhibits wg patterning that more resembles the wild-type phenotype. Embryos are orientated with anterior to left and dorsal up. (Ko, M., Lau, J., and Mendoza-Elias, J. Bio205L September 2006)
