          • “ You can’t hit a target you can’t see”
          • “ If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there.”
      • Vision
          • A compelling, credible and
        • preferred picture of the future

  • 3. Luck Factor #2 - Activity
    • If you want to be luckier, develop a bias for action
        • Develop a sense of urgency, take action!
        • Move Fast
      • The faster you move, the more experience you gain
      • The more experience you gain, the better you get.
      • Activity begins with an attitude of self-reliance.
        • Realize that no one is coming to the rescue
        • Accept that you are where are and what you are because of yourself.
        • If you want to be or do something different, it is up to you!
  • 4. Luck Factor #3 - Mastery
    • You will always be paid in direct proportion to what you do, how well you do it and the difficulty of replacing you.
    • Sales people are not paid for position or seniority,
    • but for performance and results.
        • The better you are, the luckier you will be.
      • On the other hand, you can
      • have every opportunity in the world,
      • but if you are not good at what you do,
      • opportunities will fall through your fingers.
  • 5. Luck Factor #4 - Energy
    • Successful people have more energy that unsuccessful people
          • They get up earlier
          • They are out the door faster
          • They work longer hours
            • 40 hours is what is takes to survive...it’s what you do beyond that makes the difference.
        • The harder you work, the more you get done. The more you get done, the more you come to the attention of people who can open doors for you.
        • “ I believe in luck, and the harder I work the luckier I get”
        • -Stephen Leocock

      • really are, and your situation
      • as it really is.

  • 7. Getting Lucky Takes Effort
    • The most powerful way to shape your business is to take action
      • Different actions produce different results
      • It’s not what you do once in a while, it’s what you do consistently
    • Everything that happens to you in business and life begins with a decision .
      • Marriage, children, exercising, call schedule, etc.
  • 8. But not all decisions are created equal
    • Making a true decision means committing to achieving a result, and cutting yourself off from any other possibility.
        • True decisions don’t start with “I would like to” or “It would be nice if”
    • What keeps people from achieving their goals isn’t their doctor’s, the economy, or the competition….it’s their belief systems.
    • Once you make a decision
      • Take Action
      • Notice what works and what doesn’t
      • Modify your approach
  • 9. Good Luck!
