Workshop 1 – Mobile Technologies in the Environment Description In this workshop we worked with GPS devices, sensors and digital cameras to collect environmental data. After this, we processed, interpreted and complemented the data to put in Google Earth. Used Devices GPS Garmin Etrex H devices; Environmental sensors; Digital Cameras Data gathered Humidity, Temperature, Light, CO, CO 2 , O 2 , Infra Red, … Software Google Earth; Komposer; Specific sensors software

Procedure
Prepared GPS to geo-referencing a route we gather data
Prepared the sensors
Walked with GPS and sensors around the Sintra Town and take a pictures.
Put the data collected in the computer
Interpreted the data
Put the data in Google Earth
Modifying the Google Earth balloons with the data interpretation
