Our StoryFounded in the 1960’s by Melvin and Irving SchottensteinFor over 25 years, the company operated as a multi-family specialist using the name M/I Real Estate Co.In the late 1970’s Melvin and Irving Schottenstein founded M/I Schottenstein Homes and began building single family homes. Gary Schottenstein took the helm of M/I Real Estate and continues with his coaching and leadership as CEO to this day.
