  • Name & Duration of the CourseThis is a one year course and the name of the course shall be Master of Philosophy(M.Phil.)Course DescriptionThis 1 year course is a comprehensive program which covers all the different aspects ofcapital markets. While the course is primarily theoretical, there is a good blend ofprojects, case studies and industrial visits to enable a student to get well – versed withthe functioning of the Industry. There is also exposure to working in the industry duringthe Summer Internship Programs.Objectives To provide an advanced course of study to post-graduates in Finance To provide basic training required for undertaking research work and to trainthem in conducting research in different areas of Finance To prepare them for undertaking higher responsibilities in such areas as financeeducation, research, policy formulation, planning and administration funds, realestate trust, venture capital, Insurance Industry).Learning OutcomesThe Master’s program aims to provide the student with analytical, methodological, andwork-related skills.
