Full potential show ep. 7 two keys to creating greater wealth

  1. 1. Full Potential Show Episode 7:Two Keys to Creating Greater WealthHello, and welcome to the Full Potential Show. I’m James Rick. This is yournumber one, non-boring source for personal development. Today we’re goingto talk about how to create more wealth in your life. I’ve got 2 key strategiesfor you for creating greater wealth in your life. But first, let’s define wealth. Is wealth gobs of money? Riches beyond your wildest dreams? Aharem of beautiful, naked women waiting by the poolside? Or naked men? Whatever? Is thatwealth? No, that’s riches…that’s money. Wealth is about freedom, it’s about lifestyle, it’s aboutoptions, it’s about empowerment. Can you be wealthy and rich? Yes. Could you be poor andwealthy? Hmmm…possibly. There is a certain amount of money that is required in order to be wealthy, and that is whatwe’re going to talk about today in more of a financial sense so that you can create wealth inother areas of your life. Because, you know what? It’s hard to be physically wealthy. You know, physically fit and healthy. Or to be mentally wealthy - which is at peace or without stress. Orspiritually wealthy - which is having the ability to focus and meditate on a higher power whenyou can’t pay the bills, when there’re leaks in the roof, when the creditors are threatening totake over your home. It’s hard to do those things. Financial wealth is really going to, as youalready know, make your life better in so many other areas. But I wanted to point out that it’snot just about the money. Wealth is really about freedom, options and empowerment in manyother areas of your life. That is going to be the trickle-down effect of being financially wealthy. 2. 2. Now, let’s talk about what are those 2 key strategies? I know that you’re sitting on the edge ofyour seat right now because I’m about to share with you some principles that are going tochange your life forever. Two things, this is the secret to wealth, are you ready? One: Frugality… Hating waste… Wasting not.Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart, the richest corporation in the world right now, was fondof saying, that “through controlling your expenses, you will always find a competitiveadvantage.” Benjamin Franklin, in Poor Richard’s Almanac, almost 200 years old, yes, notBenjamin Franklin, the almanac. Benjamin Franklin is gone now, he can’t live to be 200 yearsold even though he was a very smart man . Benjamin Franklin also was very adamant aboutnot wasting. We’re going to talk about some ways in the next episode to be frugal and to live alifestyle that doesn’t mean living like a cheap ass, but it does mean preserving your resources sothat you can do the second strategy that I’m about to talk about and that is leverage. Two: Having more leverage in your life, both in the form of the finances that you’re able to preserve through living frugal, but then also, what you’re able to invest those resources into to create greater and greater leverage in your life. This is it. These are the secrets to living a wealthier life. You know what? So many people falldown and fail on the first one that they never even get to the second one.Instant gratification and lack of discipline are the two biggest reasons why people fail. The thirdreason is ego. You know, I have a saying that I’m fond of repeating – “The ego is an expensivething to maintain.” It’s the most expensive thing that you’ll ever own. If you’re not being frugal,it’s for one of these three reasons. You want instant gratification. You want to show off whatyou have when you don’t even have it… nice clothes, nice house, nice cars. Or you’re justlacking the discipline to be frugal. If you want to be wealthy, you’re going to need to knock outthose three things in order to preserve your capital so that you can invest it into leverage. That’s it for this show. I just wanted to whet your appetite a little bit about being frugal andcreating more leverage in your life. In the next episode, we’re going to talk about how you cando some of these things to create greater and greater wealth that is going to change your lifeforever in every way. I’m James Rick, this is the Full Potential Show. Do you remember the twothings that we just talked about that are going to change your life forever and create more Full Potential Show Episode 7 Transcript Two Keys to Creating Greater Wealth www.fullpotential.com
  3. 3. wealth and abundance than you ever thought possible? Write those down, think about waysthat you can apply those in your own life and in the next episode, we’re going to talk morespecifically about how you can do these things and really make a difference in your life and inthe lives of so many people that you’re going to touch.
