    • 1. HALLOWEEN • Halloween is a contraction of "All Hallows' Evening". It was probably a Pagan Celtic feast called Samhain or The day f the Dead. It is the day that the souls of dead people are believed to come back to Earth. • At present Halloween is a holiday in many English speaking countries. It is celebrated on the night of October 31st.
