  2. 3. Lift: Upward force on object in fluid Thrust: Pushing force exerted by engine Drag: Opposes motion of airplane (friction)
  3. 4. Small Wing = Less lift / need large thrust Large wing: More lift / need less thrust Air travels fast over top of wing and slower over bottom of wing Slow fluid: high pressure Fast Fluid: Low Pressure
  4. 5. Fluids flow from high to low pressure causing the wing to lift Upward Lift
