  • 2. Making a simple Animation Pong is a simple animation of a ball bouncing between two paddles 1.Build the scene 2.Animate the objects 3.Render the finished product
  • 3. Build the Scene Cubes x 2 UV Sphere Save Early Save Often! <crtl> + S <shift> + A = Add Object G = Grab / Transform R = Rotate S = Scale ------------------------------------- X, Y, Z for that direction only <shift> + X, <shift> + Y, or <shift> + Z to exclude that direction Objects Short-cut keys
  • 4. Animate the objects I = Insert a key frame Then lock in the location. <alt> + I = Remove a key frame. NB: You MUST have the object selected and be at the key frame in the timeline. Shortcuts Insert Keyframe Menu
  • 5. Render the finished scene Properties Panel -> Render Settings Change the Resolution to X = 320 Y = 240 Output Change to the Desktop, with a suitable name Change PNG, to AVI JPEG
