Source (computer) will overwrite the Destination (external drive). • 8. How To Back Up Your Computer Files What to do if a file exists on Destination but not on Source The backup can delete any old files from the external drive that are no longer on your computer. For this choose the third option; Delete file from Destination. I believe if it hasn't been modified within the last ... days may be an option in the Pro version of Syncback only. If you prefer to keep old versions of files, choose Do nothing. Then click Apply and OK, and your options are set. Confirm Simulation The next window to open will ask if you want to perform a simulated run. Click Yes and it will run your profile as if and show you what is going to happen when you actually run it. If anything looks wrong with this backup preview, immediately abort the backup and find the problem in your profile setup before you come back and try again. Syncback will always do what you tell it to. You, on the other hand, can make mistakes. How To Back Up Your Computer Files Page 10
