PLACES WE VISITED
We flew into Cancun, Mexico
Took a bus to Mérida, the capitol of the Yucatan
From there we traveled to various villages
Izamal, Tekax and Villadoldid
Each place was unique

DOWN SOUTH OF THE BORDER

LEAVING: BY FAITH
Our group originally consisted of nine people
Before our journey got started, we hit a snag
The Africans weren’t allowed to leave without Mexican visas
We split up and I went with Randy, Bob and Abel
It was a real faith booster for Jason
We were the team, half the people for the same job

IZAMAL: TEACHING THE SPIRIT
These people just learned about the Holy Spirit
The country’s predominant religion is Catholic
The Mexican people have an oppression of guilt
We taught about what the Holy Spirit is and to not fear it
We taught the freedom found in a relationship with Jesus
Leadership meeting and night time gathering in the square

God is doing a miraculous work in this village
The faith of the people are growing and so is the church
A few years ago, there was much crime in the city
Now the people are becoming prosperous and at peace
After the meetings, people find diamonds on the ground
We experienced them being coughed, or found in shoes

VALLADOLDID: PRAYING IN THE DARK
One of the best experiences of the trip
The first time the group was together again
We really could see the heart of the people and the need
We formed many relationship with people here
We prayed for many who were sick and they were healed
We prayed for others for leadership and strength

One of our team members was Bob, the clown
He came to Mexico to teach clowning and to minister
We had the opportunity to work with him a little bit
We worked with the children and bringing joy

The conglomeration of churches are uniting the nations
Pastor Daniel came to unite Mexico with South Africa
He spoke to the leadership of Pastor Antonio’s Church
He was the main speaker at the international conference
There is a powerful unification at work in the city
