Technologies from the process of constructing this product

CameraA camera is used to film people. For my film, we had to use the camera to film ourselves.

What we learned about using camerasWe have learnt how to use the camera to make the different camera shots for our film which are close ups, master shots( used when two people are in the shot) and medium shot( used when someone is having a conversation). We have also learnt when to stop recording which is 5 seconds after the person has said their lines. Now we know how to show each shot on camera for each effect.

LightingLighting is used to show the different effects of the character or the scene.

What we used Lighting forWe have used lighting to make the character look weak and vulnerable which is a high key shot and to make the character look powerful which is a low key shot. The lighting in our film is mainly used to show tension. This is good use for a horror film. Now we know how to use lighting in films.

TripodThe tripod is used for holding the camera into place.

What we used tripod forWe have learnt how to put the camera onto the tripod and how to take it off the tripod. We have also learnt how make the tripod longer to show high angle and how to make it shorter to show low angle low angle. Now I know how to use the tripod for filming if I plan to use it in the future.

MacMac is a computer made by Apple. It is also a software.

What we used Mac forWe have learnt how to use the Mac computer to go on different programs like adobe media encoder to transfer videos from mpeg into flv, celtex to make my planning work on and Microsoft to make presentations. We have also learnt how to take videos to make podcast on the Mac by going on the photo booth, how to take photos on the Mac for group pictures and how to take screenshots to show evidence of what I have done on the blog.
