Tomorrow’s Assignment: Come up with norms for Data Team meetings, guidelines which we can all agree on to make our meetings more productive. Examples: Begin and end on time Come to the meeting with your “homework” completed No side conversations We will compile all grade level suggestions and come up with school-wide norms for Data Team meetings.
Role of the Coach Work with classroom teachers to ensure the required data is collected. Guide discussions about the data; work as a team to analyze the data and agree on SMART goals and instructional strategies every teacher will implement in their classroom. Work with classroom teachers and co-teach if requested to implement agreed-upon instructional strategies. Meet with the RTI and Data Coach at least once per month (e.g. during PE time) to review data for your classroom. Serve as a COACH to improve teaching and learning at Hale Kula.
