If you look around Jive's Palo Alto office, you can tell we are definitely part of the modern, mobile workforce. We take business calls on our mobile devices, frequently communicate with colleagues over text message, and use mobile apps to get work done just as if we are at our desktops.

Just a few years ago, no one could have guessed how important mobile phones would be for how we collaborate at work. Of course, with mobile phones being the status quo in the workplace, we are seeing some interesting trends and habits form -- both negative and positive -- and we thought it was high time we take a deeper look to understand what employees like and don't like about their colleagues' mobile phone activities.

Here are the findings from the recent quarterly survey we conducted with Harris Interactive on the topic.
