Presentation, Analysis and Interpretation of Data Gathered This chapter presents the data gathered regarding the Persons That StudentsPrefer to Seek Advice First, and proceeds to the analysis and interpretation of saiddata.Subproblem 1 To whom do you prefer to seek advice first? Table I Persons That Students Prefer to Seek Advice First Choices No. of respondents PercentageFamily 36 27 %Friends 94 70 %Guidance 2 1%Others 3 2% The table shows the response of students in the question about the persons thatstudents prefer to seek advice first. The guidance counselor got 1 %, probablybecause the guidance counselor can only be approached in school, family had 27 % ofthe response, the probable reason is because family is a reliable source of advice.Friends had the greatest percentage which is 70 %, maybe because they can relate toeach other. Others got 2 %, maybe because some respondents prefer to seek adviceto specific person/s such as teachers.
