Detailed Thoughts - 1 <ul><li>Learning paths in IYC </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Idea is to mould each IYCian to be valuable Politician / Strategist / Parliamentarian </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Medias should start branding leaders like ‘He is an IYC Certified Politician’ </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced Level Certifications for IYCians </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Exams needed in each level , can be written/practical/camps (Some initial sketch below) </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Beginner Level : - Leadership, Management Skills, Decision Making, Analytical and Logical thinking, Basic Law Awareness, Basic Economics, Inflation, GDP </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Intermediate Level : - Political Science & Administration, India History, Indian National Congress History, Overview of World history and economy, Election strategies. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Expert Level : Philosophies of other political parties. Biographical analysis of legendary leaders (Political and non-political), Case studies on the fallen economies, risen economies, reasons for economics crisis, Moot parliament ( All are just examples) </li></ul></ul>

Detailed Thoughts - 2 <ul><li>MissionIndia2020 backtrack analysis to Mission MyPanchayat 2017 </li></ul><ul><ul><li>High time to narrow down Mission India 2020 up to MyPanchayat level. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Conducting workshops jointly with other similar minded communities on how my panchayat can be developed by 2017 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Identifying the potential strengths of My Panchayat in terms of tourism, possibilities of tapping environment resources like solar, bio-gas, water harvesting, creating more job openings. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Introducing scientific tools for agriculture and farming </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Conducting workshops on ‘Planning commision report on India 2020’ and Dr. Abdul Kalam’s ‘India 2020’ and understand how change can be brought to My Panchayat </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>http://www.planningcommission.nic.in/reports/genrep/pl_vsn2020.pdf </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>http://www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/India_2020 </li></ul></ul></ul>

Detailed Thoughts - 3 <ul><li>Set short-term and long-term goals for each IYCian up to cadre levels </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Set Yearly/Half-Yearly goals for each IYCians in national level, state level, constituency level, ward level and even in cadre level. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Goals achieved needs to be reviewed every 6 months. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Each Goal should be well measurable. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Officer bearers should have both individual level goals and team level goals. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Some Examples for goals:- </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Individual Level (Based on ward/mandal/constituency/education background) </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Present a paper on national development in a community </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Present a proposal on how MyPanchayat can be self sufficient </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Assist poor and needy children in their studies </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Plant 100 trees in your panchayat </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Enroll 100 youths to IYC </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Panchayat Level </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Setting up reading room and reading club </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Setting up an oratory club </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Fighting for proper roads, internet availability </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Setting up a water purification plant, biogas plant, bus stop, water harvesting plant, playground etc </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Similarly all level leaders should have clear visibility on the goals he/she has to achieve in every 6 months . </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Proper credits has to be given for achieving the goals </li></ul></ul>

Detailed Thoughts - 4 <ul><li>Formation of Indian Youth Congress Mentors (IYCM) </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Consists of Economists, Retired professors, management experts etc </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Every IYCian should have a mentor whom he can contact on advice </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>IYCM should be able to design the curriculum for different learning paths in IYC and guide IYCians to achieve goals </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>We can never fill the gap and knowledge which IYCM can bring. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Finding and categorizing IYCians </li></ul><ul><ul><li>IYC Think Tanks, IYC Strategists, IYC Visionary, IYC Crowd Puller, IYC Idea Champion, IYC Philanthropist etc. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Idea is to analyse each IYCians capability and find in what way he can contribute better to IYC and to India. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Mission Literate India </li></ul><ul><ul><li>We being the deep rooted organization, we are in the best position to ensure India is totally literate. </li></ul></ul>

Detailed Thoughts - 5 <ul><li>Formation of IYC public forum for regular debates on India Development and Current affairs </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Should gradually get credibility like Ted (www.ted.com ) or Toast master club. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>On a regular basis need to organize politically unbiased workshops/symposiums/debates. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Eminent speakers, economic experts, other political party leaders needs to be invited </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>All these discussions/debates needs to be available on IYC website for further listening </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>“ INC was then a platform where all the different minded people can share their thoughts and join their hands for the ultimate goal – FREEDOM” – Pranab Mukherjee in ‘The Congress and making of India Nation’ </li></ul></ul><ul><li>IYC to be a creative opposition </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Irrespective of the governments IYC should act like an Opposition </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>This will ensure a constructive self-criticism even when INC is ruling. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Idea is do or die for our goals like in the freedom struggle era and ensure India is developed </li></ul></ul>

Detailed Thoughts - 6 <ul><li>Model IYC Panchayat /Ward /Assembly /Parliament awards in every 6 months </li></ul><ul><ul><li>This should be mainly focused to motivate grass-root IYCians and as a recognition for their collective goals achievements </li></ul></ul><ul><li>More IYC Awards and Recognitions on individual levels to be implemented </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Individual awards for each Panchayath/Constituency/State/National </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Again need to focus on motivating grass-root IYCians </li></ul></ul><ul><li>IYC mailing groups and SMS broadcasting mechanism up to assembly levels. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>To ensure all IYCians are linked together. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>To spread the messages as fast as possible. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>IYCians should be able to easily register to SMS alerts through websites </li></ul></ul>

Detailed Thoughts - 7 <ul><li>IYC blood donor database to be made publically accessible up to Panchayat level </li></ul><ul><ul><li>This has to get a credibility like ( http://www.friends2support.org/ ) or more than that. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>SMS alerts in Panchayat level and assembly levels should be implemented whenever we get a request to ensure we are able to actually help the needy. </li></ul></ul>

Detailed Thoughts - 9 <ul><li>Moot parliament competitions across country </li></ul><ul><ul><li>To ensure IYCians are getting molded as eminent parliamentarians </li></ul></ul><ul><li>IYC man hour collection for social work and orphanages. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>This has to be tightly coupled with the goals. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>This way IYC should ensure a guaranteed commitment towards society </li></ul></ul><ul><li>IYC Reading Rooms and Reading Club in every Panchayath/Assembly </li></ul><ul><ul><li>To be read jointly with Mission Literate India concept. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>This has to a place where IYCians can hang around on a regular basis. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Should be open to all. </li></ul></ul>

Detailed Thoughts – 10 <ul><li>In-depth analysis of other successful political/non-political youth organizations in the world. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Needed to understand how a youth organization can be successful in outreaching maximum youths for long term. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>IYC Pre-membership/Membership making online. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>This will attract more youths and membership procedure will be simplified. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Scanned copies of age and address proofs needs to be uploaded during this process </li></ul></ul><ul><li>IYCian be a helping hand to common man in Panchayat levels. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Still common man is unaware of many government formalities/projects/grants /Self employment programs available to help people from poverty. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Common man still believes these programs are unachievable. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>All IYCians to be well equipped with this knowledge and approachable to all common man irrespective of the political ideology. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Regular assembling for IYCians in Panchayat/Ward level </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Similar to Shakha in RSS </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Essential to increase the bondage and integrity between IYCians </li></ul></ul>
