  • 2. <ul><li>Crowds Follow Jesus </li></ul><ul><li>When they came down from the mountain, the disciples stood with Jesus on a large, level area, surrounded by many of his followers and by the crowds. There were people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from as far north as the seacoasts of Tyre and Sidon. 18 They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those troubled by evil spirits were healed. 19 Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone. </li></ul>Luke 6:17- 26 (New Living Translation)

Think Again! <ul><li>Woe to wealthy, well-fed and the raucous ones. </li></ul><ul><li>Feeling pretty secure with your earthy goods and such? </li></ul><ul><li>Pity those poor souls with little in the bank and driving older cars? </li></ul><ul><li>Jesus and forever friends are our wealth, sustenance and joy, come what may. --Philippians : 4:1a </li></ul>

It Is A Choice To Live A God-dependent Life! <ul><li>We choose to trust in God’s amply supply. --Philippians 4:19 </li></ul><ul><li>Believers redirect their energies to pursuing Kingdom matters. --Matthew 6:33-34 </li></ul><ul><li>We are satisfied with God’s approval and our identity as his children. --Matthew 25:21 </li></ul>
  • 20. Being Realistic. What Areas Of My Life Challenge Me To Be Content And Trusting? <ul><li>Human relationships? </li></ul><ul><li>Finances? </li></ul><ul><li>Possessions, Materialism? </li></ul><ul><li>Needing the approval of others? </li></ul><ul><li>Physical limitations? </li></ul><ul><li>Having God’s approval? </li></ul><ul><li>Believing that God really is enough? </li></ul>

  • 22. Prayer
  • 23. TAKE HOME <ul><li>Don’t worry…Be happy! </li></ul><ul><li>Relax, it’ll all be fine in the end. </li></ul><ul><li>I’m not surrendering to poverty. I’m trusting in God’s ample provision. </li></ul>
