    1. 1. HEBREWS 11:1-2 MORE THAN WE CAN ASK OR IMAGINE
    2. 2. Today we begin a journey with this affirmation. EVERYONE WITH GUSTO (Ephesians 3:20-21): God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.    Glory to God in the church!    Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!    Glory down all the generations!    Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!
    3. 3. Hebrews 11:1-2 (Today’s NIV) 1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
    4. 4. Hebrews 11:1-2 (Message Bible) The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.
    5. 5. EVERYONE READ ALOUD Hebrews 11:1-2 The fundamental fact of my existence is that I trust in God. This faith, is my firm foundation, my title deed, for everything that makes my life worth living. It's my handle on what I can't see. This act of faith is what distinguishes me from the crowd.
