  4. 4.  French is a spoken but not primary language in several European Countries other than France they include  Switzerland (official language)  Belgium (official)  Luxembourg (official)  Monaco  Andorra
  5. 5.  Aside from Canada there are a few other French speaking areas to be noted:  The first being a portion of Louisiana still speaks Creole French  Haiti  St. Martin  West Indies  Guyana in South America and they still technically “belong” to France.

  7. 7.  French is spoken in 33 total countries (2nd to English!) French is one of 2 languages that are native languages on 5 continents! French is also one of 2 languages taught in every country! Louis XIV reigned for 72 years. Internationally, the runner up is Britains current reigning Queen Elizabeth II.
  8. 8.  France has nearly 3000 miles of seashore, with three major water bodies: the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, and the English Channel. French people love cheese. There are around 350 to 400 varieties of French cheese The Statue of Liberty, one of the most widely recognized structures of US, was made in France. It was then gifted to the US in 1886 to celebrate its centennial.
