  • EPORTFOLIO CONSULTANTS?
    • Student instructors who teach Studio Hour and conduct ePortfolio and assessment workshops
    • ePortfolio experts who provide ePortfolio design and development assistance to faculty
    • Provide technical assistance to different seminars, institutes and professional development trainings provided by the Center for Teaching and Learning
    • Develop, maintain and update the ePortfolio Website
    • Technology gurus (nerds?) who try to keep up with latest technological developments
  • WHAT IS STUDIO HOUR?
    • ePortfolio design and development lab course attached to a credit course (FPA, Academies, Quantum Leap, Capstone and Nursing)
    • Taught solely by ePortfolio Consultants assisted by STMs
    • It is where students create, design and develop their ePortfolios under the instruction and guidance of the ePortfolio consultants, assisted by the STMs
  • WHAT IS STUDIO HOUR ? (CONT)
    • Spring 09 - Session I / 61 studio hours
    • 14 Consultants: 12 part-timers and 2 full timers
    • Two ePortfolio Project Managers
    • ePortfolio Director
    • Supported by Student Technology Mentors (STM)
  • WORKSHOPS
    • ePortfolio design and development workshops
    • Assessment workshops
    • Spring 09 – 173 workshops requests involving 232 contact hours (actual number of workshop hours)
    • STMs assist consultants in workshops
    • Workshops for “trained” and “untrained” faculty, full-time and adjunct faculty
    • Workshops requested by ePortfolio mini-grant faculty participants
    • Carnegie course folios
  • OPEN LABS AND WALK –IN ASSISTANCE
    • E 273 and C 740 are two dedicated ePortfolio labs where students can get ePortfolio assistance
    • E 273- Open from 10:30 to 5:30
    • Supported by STMs and IDAs
    • M 220 is the ePortfolio office and where faculty can call or walk-in to get assistance with ePortfolio
