About Inner Mongolia
Inner Mongolia spans about 1,183,000km² , nearly 1/8 of China's total land area.
It has a population of about 24.7 million as of 2010.
By the year 2000, the percentage of Han Chinese fell to 79.17%. While the Mongols comprised 17.13% of the population, an increase of 2,33% since 1947.

Hulun beier grassland is a world-famous Prairie.
The total area of grassland is about 10 million square kilometers, accounting for 80% of natural grassland area is one of the world famous three prairie.
Hulunbeier covers an area of 250. 557 square kilometers, with total population of 2.66 million. The Mongolian nationality is tilt dominant ethic group, and 35 other nationalities, such as Dawoer Ewenke, Elunchun, Hun, Manchu, Russian, etc. live in harmon,. with them on the grassland. Hulunbeier is called "green and clean land" because it is relatively free of pollution.

There is a moving legend behind it. A long, long time ago there lived a couple of lovers on the grassland. The girl was Hu Lun. The boy was Bei Er. One day a demon chief called Mang Gusi abducted Hu Lun and dried up the grassland. The grass withered and yellowed and domestic animals died one after another. In order to save the grassland and Hu Lun, Bei Er traveled a great distance on foot, chasing after Mang Gasi day and night. Finally, he fainted from exhaustion. In his weakened state, he dreamt that the demon chief had magically turned Hu Lun into a flower which was suffering from the windy and dusty weather. When Bei Er woke up, he saw the flower of his dream in front of him.

He immediately watered the flower and broke the spell. Hu Lun changed back into her former self. But the demon chief would not give up. He seized Hu Lun and took her away again. Hu Lun racked her brain for a way to escape. She succeeded in getting hold of the magic pearl on the demon chief's head. On swallowing the pearl Hu Lun turned into a lake. In the meantime Bei Er had killed all of the other demons, but failed to find Hu Lun. Heartbroken, Bei Er jumped into a lake to kill himself. All of a sudden the earth split open and formed two lakes, Hu Lun Lake and Be/ Er Lake, with the Wilson River closely connecting them . Later, people living on the grassland named the land Hulunbeier Grassland in memory of them.

It is with the "Gesar" and "Manas", together known as "China's three epic."
It praised Zhangar's personal life and childhood performance. And it acuraed Zhangar's home as the happiness of heaven and the splendid treasure magnificent palaces, praised Zhangar's wife and wise and brave, loyal fearless warriors.

Morin Khur 马头琴 Horse-headed violin is a typical Mongolian bowed instrument with two strings, however, very different from Er-Hu. The instrument was originally made from a horse head for the body, horse skin for the resonator, and horse hair for the strings and bow. The music played upon this instrument is of great variety and virtuosity. Much of the music typically sounds like human voice, and can imitate a horse to such an extent as real such as galloping horse, the whinnying, etc. The modern Morin Khur has a wooden body and soundboard, 2 horse hair strings, and has a rich warm tone and very beautiful sound. The peghead is decorated with a detailed carving of a horse's head.It issued a low, resonant sound.

After Genghis Khan unified the Mongol tribes in 1206 and founded the Mongol Empire, the Western Xia empire was ultimately conquered in 1227, and the Jin Dynasty fell in 1234. In 1271, Genghis' grandson Khubilai established the Yuan Dynasty.

Ejina Populus 额济纳胡杨林

Strange forest is a vast desert of the dead remains of Populus euphratica, after hundreds of years without decay, as if still continue with tenacious "life." Because this piece of strange trees, better understanding of why the Populus euphratica "life, a thousand dead; dead, a thousand years back; down, a thousand years are immortal" legend.
Now, dead wood moved, look different, even experienced a long time of baptism, even if the strange forest gradually sparse, but those dead Populus, still do not decay, showing a grotesque, or going to Heaven and shouts and or overlooking Body nodded, or upright to the sky.
