The story is very common like any other adventure films about a group of people
doing quests and saving people.
I think this is the first film in the history with all the tuff guys in it.
Comparing the first one and the second and I think the second one is much better
because the story is more dramatic and there are more characters. The
characters are very suitable for this film because all their others films are mostly
actions and this is an action film so I think tuff guys are the best choice for the
plot. It is a shame that Yin Yang (Jet Li) only appears at the beginning of the film
but the good thing is that they added 2 more characters one of them was Gunnar
Jensena bad guy from expendables 1 but he became a good guy in this film and
the other one is Booker (Chuck Norris). My favourite part of the film is when
Booker appears, he took out around 30 people and a tank and the best line is:
Barney: I heard that you were been bitten by a king cobra.
Booker: Yes, I was, but after fivedays of agonising pain, the cobra died
That was the best line that I hear from films in my life.
The shots are all well done and the fake bloods and shootings are very realistic
but I think they should have use more explosive stuff like bazookas.
The fighting scenes are much better from the first film because they get to fight
straight away instead of having a chat before the fight.
This film is probably aim to males from 15+ because the genre is action and
adventure so mostly only males will what this kind of stuff.
I would rate this film 10/10
Comparing this film to sky fall, which is also an action and adventure film. To
outfits are very different. The outfits from sky fall is more elegant and posh,
however the outfit from expendables seems like from the army, the cloths are
kind of camouflage because of the situation of the film. Most of the scenes from
expendables are on the mountains and caves,that is why the character needs to
be camouflage. In the other hand in sky fall most scenes are from the city and
elegant places.
The action scenes from expendable are more brutal because there are
explosions, way much more shootings and you can see the injures like wounds
and bloods, the actions from sky fall are more like normal fights and it doesn’t
have many shooting scenes but it does have lots of running and chasing scenes.
