Ten Facts<br />The zebra has the shape of a horse<br />There are 3 types of zebras which you can tell apart by their stripes.<br />Zebras live in mixed herds such as with gnus and antelopes<br />They feed on tough grass also bulbs and rhizomes (underground stems)<br />During dry seasons the zebras can travel 100 or more miles to get food<br />Its common to see a gnu standing next to sleeping zebra.<br />Zebras usually graze in herds of 100<br />Zebras are a very ranked and organized community.<br />The real social unit usually include 10 animals<br />There is 1 adult stallion with 5 or 6 females plus their young<br />The strongest female leads and the stallion brings up the rear<br />
