Instigated by Year 7 Student Adviser to address welfare issues
Decided to Survey Year 7 Students
Jason recommended the Feedback Module
Installed Module and found it easy to use
Questions created and students completed Survey during class time
Able to analyse by student, summary bar chart or export to excel for further analysis

Welfare Course
We are investigating the use of Moodle for providing students with centralised access to information on Welfare by Year Group.
Will probably address different issues for different years in the Moodle Welfare Courses.
Interested to see what other schools are doing.

Extensive use of Lightbox for display of images
Extensive use of Book Module for grouping like information together
Game Module used as an alternative to creating Crosswords in Hot Potatoes
Game Module also used for other more fun activities like Hangman

Quiz questions of type Essay where it is easy to place revision questions for Stage 6 classes.

HSIE Faculty Update
HSIE are continuing with extensive use of Moodle for delivery of standard and extension activities.
Online quizzes used for Year 8 all students History testing.
Extensive use of Book Module
Links to podcasts with associated questions to assess learning

Other Faculty Update
Separated HSIE and TAS Course Categories to Senior and Junior Categories due to large number of courses
English using Book, Glossaries, OUBlogs and Forums
Science starting with Year 9 with files, weblinks, lightbox, glossaries and game module
Recent Rotorua Music Tour used Moodle to share a diary using Book and images of the tour in Lightbox allowing Guest access for parents

Future
PDHPE have TPL day planned with me helping setup Moodle for their faculty
TAS - transferred most links, files and images from our school Intranet to Moodle
