  • 4. Not-Yet Proficient <ul><li>Days 3 - 9 Prepare for final Chapter Assessment by discussions, worksheets, group work, quizzes, reviews </li></ul><ul><li>Day 10 - Take Chapter Assessment </li></ul>Return
  • 5. Pretest Proficient <ul><li>1. Prepare Research Project on Chapter Topic (approved by teacher) and present to class on 8th or 9th day OR </li></ul><ul><li>2. Tutor and assist non-proficient students under direction of teacher </li></ul>Receive an “A” on the Chapter Test and ...
  • 6. <ul><li>Either path (Pretest Proficient or not) can lead to an “A” </li></ul>
  • 7. For Full Credit a Project will: <ul><li>Be on a topic related to the unit and approved by the teacher </li></ul><ul><li>Be presented to the class </li></ul><ul><li>Contain original research </li></ul><ul><li>Give proper credit to all sources used, including articles, websites, and pictures </li></ul>
