The Rejoicing John heard . . .Revelation 19:1After this I heard what seemed to be theloud voice of a great multitude in heaven,crying out, “Hallelujah!”Revelation 19:6Then I heard what seemed to be the voiceof a great multitude, like the roar of manywaters and like the sound of mighty peals ofthunder, crying out, “Hallelujah!”
  7. 7. The Rejoicing John heard . . .In vv. 1-5 – The rejoicing is over the fall of Babylon!In vv. 6-10 – The rejoicing is over the wedding of the Bride!
  8. 8. Rejoicing over Babylon’s fall!Revelation 19:1-2After this I heard what seemed to be theloud voice of a great multitude in heaven,crying out, “Hallelujah! Salvation and gloryand power belong to our God, for hisjudgments are true and just; for he hasjudged the great prostitute who corruptedthe earth with her immorality, and hasavenged on her the blood of his servants.”
  9. 9. Rejoicing over Babylon’s fall!Revelation 19:3-5Once more they cried out, “Hallelujah! Thesmoke from her goes up forever and ever.”And the twenty-four elders and the four livingcreatures fell down and worshiped God whowas seated on the throne, saying, “Amen.Hallelujah!” And from the throne came avoice saying, “Praise our God, all you hisservants, you who fear him, small and great.”
  10. 10. Rejoicing over Bride’s wedding!Revelation 19:6Then I heard what seemed to be the voiceof a great multitude, like the roar of manywaters and like the sound of mighty pealsof thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah!For the Lord our God theAlmighty reigns!”

Rejoicing over Bride’s wedding!Revelation 19:7-8Let us rejoice and exult and give him theglory, for the marriage of the Lamb hascome, and his Bride has made herselfready; it was granted her to clotheherself with fine linen, bright and pure”—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds ofthe saints.

And her husbandJoseph, being a just man and unwilling toput her to shame, resolved to divorce herquietly.

  19. 19. Rejoicing over the Bride’s wedding!Revelation 19:10Then I fell down at his feet to worshiphim, but he said to me, “You must not dothat! I am a fellow servant with you andyour brothers who hold to the testimonyof Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimonyof Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
  20. 20. The Rejoicing John heard . . .In vv. 1-5 – The rejoicing is over the fall of Babylon!In vv. 6-10 – The rejoicing is over the wedding of the Bride!

The Rider is Jesus Christ!- He is called Faithful and True- His eyes like a flame of fire (he sees all!)- Upon his head is not a crown but many- His robe is dipped in blood- His name is the Word of God- He will rule the nations with a rod of iron- He will tread the winepress of the fury ofthe wrath of God Almighty
  23. 23. The Rider is Jesus Christ!- And on his robe and thigh … hisname is written, “King of kings andLord of lords.”Can there be any doubt that this is none other than Jesus Christ?
  24. 24. The Return John saw (vv. 11-21)Revelation 19:17-18Then I saw an angel standing in the sun,and with a loud voice he called to all thebirds that fly directly overhead, “Come,gather for the great supper of God, to eatthe flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, theflesh of mighty men, the flesh of horsesand their riders, and the flesh of all men,both free and slave, both small and great.”
  25. 25. The Return John saw (vv. 11-21)Revelation 19:19And I saw the beast and the kings of theearth with their armies gathered to makewar against him who was sitting on thehorse and against his army.
  26. 26. The Return John saw (vv. 11-21)Revelation 19:20And the beast was captured, and withit the false prophet who in its presencehad done the signs by which he deceivedthose who had received the mark of thebeast and those who worshiped its image.These two were thrown alive into the lakeof fire that burns with sulfur.
  27. 27. The Return John saw (vv. 11-21)Revelation 19:21And the rest were slain by the sword thatcame from the mouth of him who wassitting on the horse, and all the birds weregorged with their flesh.

Never has there been amarriage like this one.”
