consistent with God’s vengeance.

Revelation 15:5-6
After this I looked, and the sanctuary
of the tent of witness in heaven was
opened, and out of the sanctuary came
the seven angels with the seven plagues,
clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden
sashes around their chests.

is so enamored with the love of
God, we cannot – we MUST not –
lose sight of the wrath of God.

finished one day. He will
be satisfied. Sinners will
not escape. Will you face
that wrath for yourself, or
will you flee to Christ,
who faced that wrath for
all who would trust him
when the Father forsook
him at Calvary?”

31. 1. In a day and age when the Church
is so enamored with the love of
God, we cannot – we MUST not –
lose sight of the wrath of God.
32. 2. When we are tempted to
question God’s ways (especially
when trouble strikes), we must
remember that His ways are just
and true and that he alone is holy
(wholly other)!
33. Isaiah 55:8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares
the Lord. For as the heavens are higher
than the earth, so are my ways higher
than your ways and my thoughts than
your thoughts.
