  • 3. Outages: Time is money.
    • Imagine the ability to hire a highly skilled and trained workforce that specializes in nuclear insulation, abatement and fire stop services. Many members of this group have supported more than 100 refuel outages. Instead of training and teaching a new workforce each outage, you can turn over the work and watch as our management team ensures it is safely and efficiently executed. This is the reason Exelon Corporation has relied on us for the last 10 years with a recent 5 year contract extension.
    • What can we do for you?
  • 4. Asbestos abated and new vessel insulation installed with no outage schedule impact! Is that possible? Application: Support replacement of moisture separator reheaters for a major utility power uprate.   Before:
  • 5. After:
  • 6. Case History: No, the before and after photos are not reversed!   How can working backwards save you precious outage time? The Luse Thermal Technologies Nuclear Services Team is contacted to support the replacement of 4 moisture separator reheaters at a nuclear facility owned by a large utility. We worked with the utility to plan and execute a strategy that allowed the insulation to be installed on the new vessels before the outage and the asbestos removed from the old vessels after the outage! Our team is geared to minimize the impact our work has on your outage duration. If we can handle a project like the one above, you know we can be counted on during your normal outage work. Please email us if you would like to receive a copy of our nuclear services presentation. We look forward to having an opportunity to be a part of your project team.
  • 7. We specialize in:

    • THE LUSE COMPANIES
    • (A TRADITION SINCE 1923)
    • Back in 1923, D. Claude Luse and Jack Stevenson founded the Luse-Stevenson Company which operated as a corkboard importer and roofing company. Our “family-owned and operated” values and traditions helped the company flourish in the early days, and those same strengths continue to be an integral part of The Luse Companies as we head into the 21 st century.
    • The company’s original founding principles are as valid today as they were in 1923:
      • LISTEN to the customer.
      • EXCEED every expectation.
      • HONOR every commitment.
      • MAINTAIN the highest standards of moral and ethical conduct.
    • Run by the fourth generation of the Luse family. The Luse Companies are committed to providing the highest quality products and services to our customers. We accomplish this by continuously improving our processes, thereby providing our customers greater value.
