    • Iwi: literally ‘bone’ - means ‘tribal groups’ in Maori.
    • Whanau : - literally ‘to give birth’. Means ‘family’ in Maori.
    • Tauiwi : - literally ‘strange tribe’ or ‘foreign race’
    • Immigrate : to move into a country
    • Emigrate : to leave a country
    Copy the following terms into your Glossary:
