    • To allow Allscripts employees, clients and fans to donate
    • through a social media site and visually track their progress.
    • Task:
    • To create a Facebook “Cause” page

    • with the purpose of rallying Allscripts employees, as well as
    • clients and fans to support Lwala. Post video to page.

    • A Facebook Cause is an online campaign for collective action that can be started by any Facebook user. The creator of a cause can champion any issue, from the global, to the local. The cause creator conveys the primary goal of the cause in the title they choose and the various fields they can fill out to describe the cause. Finally, a cause can be used to mobilize a network to raise money for a beneficiary (Lwala Community Alliance) or to simply promote a position .

    • ** Facebook Cause is an application that must be added to a person or company’s Facebook Page

    • Utilize the Allscripts Facebook Fan Page to spread
    • the Connect2Lwala message.
    • Fan Pages can communicate and engage with an audience , and capture new audiences virally through friend recommendations, News Feed stories, Facebook events and beyond.
    • Utilizing the current Facebook Fan page would simply energize fans about supporting Lwala.
    • Post video to the page.

    • Speading the word and energizing followers to donate.
    • Task:
    • Create a Twitter account such as such as Connect2Lwala ,
    • Lift4Lwala , Aid4Lwala or SupportLwala . Use #hash tags
    • with the same name to spread the word and raise
    • awareness.

    • Post facts about Lwala and rallying points.
    • Encourage monetary giving.
    • Post pictures, video and tweets about the Lwala presentation at ACE.
    • Create a Twibbon and invite followers to use it. This can be done by sharing the video link and Twibbon.
    • Host a retweet challenge for the video...the 100th person to retweet will have $x-amount donated to the Lwala project in their name
    • Post a TwitVid of the video.

    • Mobilizing the Allscripts community to rally for Lwala and
    • reach out for clients and supporters to do the same.
    • Task:
    • Create a “Support Lwala” Community within the Allscripts

    • Allscripts employees, clients and fans can engage about Lwala and encourage giving.
    • Employees will have the ability to reach outside the network to clients, fans and others who would like to donate.
    • View the video on the page.
    • Why Yammer? This site has mobilized the Allscripts community and is growing significantly everyday.

    • Create a Lwala Yammer account to frequently post
    • facts and encouragement to donate on the company wall.

    • The company can donate money on behalf of the employee that takes the message “most viral” (ex. Most retweets, most Facebook shares, most emails circulated, most invitations to Yammer Community, etc.).
    • Awarding the “viral champion” with a title (ex. The Allscripts' Philanthropy Award) for company-wide recognition.
