Final Sign OverviewI made this my final sign design for several reasons. First, I think it does the best job at capturing both children and adults. The faded background photo of older men helps grab the attention of adults.Second, the font (Showcard Gothic) is bold and eye-catching to both young and old.Third, the bright colors make the sign fun and interesting to look at for youth.Fourth, the photos in the sign are a mixture of both adults and youth. I think this helps successfully bring in an audience of all ages. Finally, the descriptions next to each photo provides important information about being successful in life. Parents who read this sign would likely want their kids to see it as well. In addition, the sign is inspiring to not only the youth, but adults as well. The next slide is a list of key changes that I made from the other designs.
Changes• I changed the font of the title and used a similar font for the subheadings to create repetition.• Originally, I added a line below the title of the sign to separate the main heading from the rest of the sign. After giving it some thought, I decided to take this out.• I went back to using a single faded photo of instead of a color background.• I arranged the photos and the text to show alignment.• I added borders around the photos that complemented the color of the subheading associated with that section.• I placed a description next to each photo that complements the sub-message.
