The Case Study …. <ul><li>Keki Bomi Dadiseth is the head of the department . </li></ul><ul><li>The traditional empowerment polices which they were following which were ones the strength were proving to be weakness as many managers rebelled against the idea of being bound by system. </li></ul><ul><li>To overcome this problem he used empowerment based on his 4 HRD principles. </li></ul><ul><li>- people like power and responsibility </li></ul><ul><li> - people had to be inspired, not instructed. </li></ul><ul><li> - people can be induced to solve all problems. </li></ul><ul><li> - outsiders are as important as in insiders . </li></ul>
  • 18. <ul><li>He believes that people operate best as themselves. </li></ul><ul><li>They can not operate as people they are not. </li></ul><ul><li>Ones he tells people about their goals he gives his workers full freedom to use any strategy to accomplish these goals. </li></ul><ul><li>As he says his doors are open to all “ Informality changes the mindset of people”. </li></ul><ul><li>He gives the people the confidence and freedom to express themselves freely. </li></ul><ul><li>There is no supervisor in the factory all workers are responsible for the quality control. </li></ul>
