Some Facts about HLL <ul><li>Is India 's largest consumer products company and was formed in 1933 as Lever Brothers India Limited . </li></ul><ul><li>HUL is the market leader in Indian products such as tea , soaps , detergents , as its products have become daily household name in India. </li></ul>

The Case Study …. <ul><li>Keki Bomi Dadiseth is the head of the department . </li></ul><ul><li>The traditional empowerment polices which they were following which were ones the strength were proving to be weakness as many managers rebelled against the idea of being bound by system. </li></ul><ul><li>To overcome this problem he used empowerment based on his 4 HRD principles. </li></ul><ul><li>- people like power and responsibility </li></ul><ul><li> - people had to be inspired, not instructed. </li></ul><ul><li> - people can be induced to solve all problems. </li></ul><ul><li> - outsiders are as important as in insiders . </li></ul>
