      • Can your thesis statement be proven using your research?
    4. Good or Bad Thesis Statement?
      • Example #2
      • The increased production of sales of reliable,
      • low-cost laptops will raise median SAT scores
      • over the next 15 years.
      Example #1 is the BAD Thesis because it is vague and doesn’t set the parameters of the discussion to be had, while Example #2 is the GOOD example since it attempts to. Example #1 New advancements in computers will lead to smarter students.
